Victory Gardens Announces Complete Cast for A Guide for the Perplexed, Starring Kevin Anderson

Victory Gardens has announced complete casting for Joel Drake Johnson’s A Guide for the Perplexed, which will star, as previously announced, Kevin Anderson and Frances Guinan. Sandy Shinner will direct the production, which will run run July 9 – August 15 at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater.
The play focuses on a newly released petty criminal, who’s forced to take reluctant residence with his sister’s husband, their teenage son and a tank of tropical fish and who unexpectedly visited by his female pen pal arrives bearing strange gifts. The company will also feature Cynthia Baker, Meg Thalken and Bubba Weiler.
The creative team will include Jeff Bauer (scenic design), Carol J. Blanchard (costume design), Todd Hensley (lighting design), and Andre Pluess (sound design).
