Mark LeBeau, Jr. to Star in Bat Boy: The Musical

Full cast and creative team information has been announced for Bat Boy: The Musical, to perform at the Village Players Theatre, May 29-June 28. Jacque Lueken will direct.

This musical satire, written by Keythe Farley, Brian Flemming, and Laurence O’Keefe, is inspired by the saga started by the Weekly World News. It centers on Edgar, the Bat Boy, found in cave in West Virginia and then brought-up by a well-meaning family. Still the outsider, Edgar struggles to fit and survive in a world that is not ready to accept him.

Mark LeBeau, Jr. will star as Bat Boy, with the cast also featuring Emily Macomber as Meridith Parker, Tim Grover as Dr. Thomas Parker, Julia Gordon as Shelly Parker, and Justin Vidovic as Sheriff Reynolds. Additional cast members will include Mike Danovich, Michael Mejia, Mindy Wetzel, Christa Buck, Ty Mohr, Gary Shum, Kevin Bry, Deric Gochenauer , Jennifer Noble, Lara Mainier, Willow Schneider, and Danelle Wildermuth.

The creative team will include Maria Hercik (music director), Anna Glowacki (costumes), Pat Collins (make-up/special effects), Andrew Glasenhardt (lighting), and John List (sound).
