Tony Award winner Deanna Dunagan will star in Jon Robin Baitz’s Other Desert Cities, to run, as previously announced, January 12 – February 17 at The Goodman Theatre. Henry Wishcamper will direct the production.

Dunagan won a Tony Award for her performance in August: Osage County. In addition, she won a Jeff Award for her performance in I Never Sang for My Father. She is currently appearing in A Little Night Music at Writer’s Theatre.

In the play, Brooke Wyeth, a once promising novelist, returns home after a six-year absence to celebrate Christmas in Palm Springs with her parents, former members of the Reagan inner-circle, her brother, and her aunt. When Brooke announces that she is about to publish a memoir focusing on an explosive chapter in the family’s history, the holiday reunion is thrown into turmoil and the Wyeths are both bound together and torn apart as they struggle to come to terms with their past.
