Willem Dafoe, Martha Lavey, Estelle Parsons and More Set for Nelson Algren Live

Willem Dafoe has joined the cast of Nelson Algren Live: The 100th Birthday Celebration to take place at 7pm on April 6 at Steppenwolf Theatre, according to The Chicago Tribune, which also reports that the previously announced Matt Dillon will no longer participate.
The evening is slated to include never-before-heard work by the famed Chicago writer, and will also feature the previously announced Martha Lavey, Estelle Parsons, Dan Simon, Russell Banks, Don DeLillo, and Barry Gifford. The event will be filmed for educational purposes.
