The cast and creative team have been set for the Victory Gardens production of Aditi Brennan Kapil's Love Person, set to play in the Victory Gardens Biography theater, May 15-June 14. Sandy Shinner will helm this tri-lingual production, told in English, Sanskrit, and American Sign Language.

In Kapil's work, two couples, three cultures, and four relationships -- gay and straight -- blossom, break, sustain, repair, and flourish in a tale about the "language" of love. The play is structured around four Sanskrit love poems that influence and reflect the characters' journeys. The cast will feature Rajesh Bose (Ram), Cheryl Graeff (Vic), Arlene Malinowski (Maggie), and Liz Tannebaum (Free).

Design for the production will include lights by Chris Ash, costumes by Carol Blanchard, sets by Jeff Bauer, projections by Mike Tutaj, and sound by Andre Pluess.
