Noble Fool Theatricals will present the musical Altar Boyz, which returns to Chicago after three years. John Gawlik will direct the production at the Pheasant Run Resort Mainstage Theater, April 29-July 12.

The musical is about a Christian boy band -- Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham (he's Jewish) -- who are singing their final performance of their "Raise the Praise" tour across America with hopes of making it big in New York. It was conceived by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport, and features a book by Kevin Del Aguila with music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker.

The cast will include Michael Arthur, Courtney Crouse, Robert Deason, Edward Fraim, and Frank Joseph Paul. The production will be music directed by Brett Rowe and choreographed by Gil Mata.
