Tony Winner Deanna Dunagan Featured in Lookingglass Theatre Company's 2014-15 Season

The Broadway veteran will star in the Chicago premiere of Lucas Hnath’s ”Death Tax” in September.

Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company has announced the productions for its 2014-15 season.

The season will open with the Chicago premiere of Lucas Hnath's Death Tax, directed by Artistic Director of New Work Heidi Stillman. The production will begin performances September 2 in advance of an official September 12 opening, and will feature ensemble members J. Nicole Brooks and Raymond Fox, Artistic Associate Louise Lamson, and Tony Award winner Deanna Dunagan (August: Osage County).

Lookingglass Alice, adapted and directed by David Catlin from the works of Alice in Wonderland scribe Lewis Carroll, will be presented in association with the Actors Gymnasium in a production beginning performances November 12. The official opening has been set for November 22.

The Midwest premiere of Will Eno's Title and Deed will follow in the spring, directed by Lookingglass Literary Manager and Dramaturg Marti Lyons and featuring Michael Patrick Thornton. Performances are scheduled to begin March 18, 2015, in advance of a March 28 opening.

The world premiere of Moby Dick, adapted and directed by Catlin from the classic Herman Melville novel, will close out the season. Also produced in association with the Actors Gymnasium, the production is scheduled to begin performances June 10 in advance of a June 20 opening.
