Storefront Theatre Announces Fall 2012 Programming

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events has announced the three productions that will comprise the fall season at the Storefront Theater.

Sideshow Theatre Company will present Roland Schimmelpfennig’s fractured reimagining of the stories about the King of Crete, Idomeneus (August 18 – September 23), directed by Jonathan L. Green. Also scheduled for the venue is WildClaw Theatre’s production of Charley Sherman’s play based on a Clive Barker short story, The Life of Death (October 2 – November 4), to be directed by Carolyn Klein.

The third offering at Storefront Theatre this fall will be Backstage Theatre Company’s Stephen Levenson’s The Language of Trees (November 14 – December 16), which explores the fallout at home when an American translator is kidnapped and held hostage in the Middle East.
