Steppenwolf Theatre Extends Hit the Wall Through April 22

Steppenwolf Theatre Company has extended The Inconvenience’s Hit the Wall, running in The Steppenwolf Garage. The show, part of Steppenwolf’s Garage Rep series, will now run through April 22.

Written by Ike Holter and directed by Eric Hoff, the play with music is a freewheeling re-examination of the Stonewall Riots. The production features music by Ryan Murphy, and choreography by Erin Kilmurray. John Circora serves as musical director.

The company features Walter Owen Briggs, Manny Buckley, Daniel Desmaris, Desmond Gray, Steve Lenz, Rania Salem Manganaro, Layne Manzer, Shannon Matesky, Arturo Soria, and Mary Williamson.

The creative team includes John Holt (scenic design), Coral Gable (costume design), Jeff Glass (lighting design), and Joe Court (sound design).
