Lifeline Theatre Announces 2012-2013 Season

Lifeline Theatre has announced its 2012-2013 mainstage season.

The company’s slate includes Robert Kauzlaric’s new adaptation of Wilkie Collins’ The Woman in White, to run September 7 – October 28. Elise Kauzlaric will direct the piece, which charts the story of a young heiress trapped in a loveless marriage and threatened by a conspiracy of ruthless men.

Lifeline will also produce a stage version of China Miéville’s The City & The City (February 15 – April 7), a detective tale adapted by Christopher M. Walsh and directed by Dorothy Milne; and Chris Hainsworth’s adaptation of Barry Hughart’s tale about a simple peasant and his quest to find the root that will end a horrible plague, Bridge of Birds (May 31 – July 21, 2013), to be directed by Katie McLean Hainsworth.

The theater has also announced its plans for its Kids Series, which will include Duck for President (October 20 – November 25); The Mystery of the Pirate Ghost (January 12 – February 17), and The Emperor’s Groovy New Clothes (March 23 – April 28).
