I Love Lucy Live On Stage to Play Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place

I Love Lucy Live On Stage will play the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, running September 12 – November 11, according to a report in The Chicago Tribune. The show, as previously reported, premiered at the Greenway Court Theatre in Los Angeles earlier this year.

This musical comedy tribute to the most popular and longest-running television show in history takes the audience back to the 1950s and the Desilu Studios to watch the “filming” of two episodes of the iconic and beloved sitcom, I Love Lucy.

Adapted for the stage and including new material by Kim Flagg and Rick Sparks, the production is directed by Sparks with musical direction by Wayne Moore.
