Steve Best, Brianna Borger, Bethany Thomas, et al. Set for Porchlight’s Into the Woods

Porchlight Music Theatre has announced casting for Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into the Woods, to run April 9 – May 30 at Theatre Building Chicago. L. Walter Stearns will direct the production, which will feature musical direction by Eugene Dizon and choreography by Danny Bernardo.

The company will feature Steve Best (The Baker), Brianna Borger (The Baker’s Wife), Cameron Brune (Rapunzel’s Prince/Steward/ Wolf), Christa Buck (Florinda), Rebecca Chicoine (Lucinda), Kristen Freilich (Jack’s Mother), Vanessa Greenway (Cinderella’s Stepmother/ Giant), Henry Odum (Narrator/Mysterious Man), Rachel Quinn (Cinderella), Scott Sumerak (Jack), Travis Taylor (Cinderella’s Prince), Bethany Thomas (The Witch), Jennifer Tjepkema (Rapunzel), and Jeny Wasilewski (Little Red).

The creative team will include Ian Zywica (scenic design), William Morey (costume design), Joseph Fosco (sound design), and Liviu Pasare (video design).
