John Mahoney to Star in Northlight’s The Outgoing Tide; 2010-2011 Season Announced

Northlight Theatre in Skokie, Illionis has announced its 2010-2011 season.

The season will begin with Daddy Long Legs (September 16-October 24), a new musical with a book by John Caird and music and lyrics by Paul Gordon. It will be followed by Paula Vogel’s A Civil War Christmas: An American Musical Celebration (November 11-December 19), to be directed by Henry Godinez.

In the new year, Northlight will produce Danai Gurira’s Eclipsed (January 13-February 20), a look at a group of women who have endured Liberia’s civil war; the world premiere of Jon Jory’s new adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility (March 10-April 17); and the world premiere of Bruce Graham’s The Outgoing Tide (May 12-June 19), to be directed by BJ Jones and starring John Mahoney.
