Holly Hughes, Tim Miller to Perform at Victory Gardens Biograph Theatre

Tim Miller and Holly Hughes will appear at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theatre as part of the company’s Fresh Squeezed series. Miller will perform his latest work, Lay of the Land, March 15-21, and Hughes will perform The Dog and Pony Show, March 18-21.

Miller’s new piece explores both contemporary issues affecting the gay community and his life as a gay man. His other works include Postwar, Cost of Living, Democracy in America, Stretch Marks, My Queer Body, Glory Box, Us, and 1001 Beds. He is also the author of the books Shirts & Skin, Body Blows, and 1001 Beds, which won the 2007 Lambda Literary Award.

In Hughes’ show, the artist meditates on hitting midlife and its attendant crisis. A former member of the feminist collective WOW Café, Hughes other solo works include The Lady Dick, World Without End, Dress Suits for Hire, Preaching To The Perverted, and Clit Notes
