David Schwimmer, J. Nicole Brooks, Laura Eason, David Catlin Set for Lookingglass Theatre’s 2009-2010 Season
Lookingglass Theatre Company has announced selections for its 2009-2010 season, which will feature three Lookingglass Original world premiere productions. Casting for all three productions will be announced at a later date.
J. Nicole Brooks’ Fedra: Queen of Haiti will open the season with Laura Eason at the helm, September 30-November 15. In the show, Afrodite’s fury is unleashed upon Haiti, the world’s greatest superpower, in a story of power and lust.
Writer-director David Catlin’s adaptation of Icarus will play December 9-January 24, exploring the psychological desire to take to the air, the need of a father to have his child succeed, and the dizzying despair of falling.
David Schwimmer will close the season directing Trust, March 3-May 9, which he co-wrote with Andy Bellin, about how families navigate today’s uncharted technological landscape.
