Mahoney, Nussbaum et al. to Star in Northlight’s Better Late

John Mahoney and Mike Nussbaum will star in the Northlight Theatre’s world premiere production of Better Late, by Larry Gelbart and Craig Wright. Directed by BJ Jones, the production will run March 28-May 11, with an opening on April 9.

In Better Late, Julian is forced to move in with his ex-wife and her new husband in order to recuperate from a sudden illness. The cast will also include Linda Kimbrough and Steve Key.

The creative team will include JR Lederle (lighting design), Rachel Laritz (costume design), Jack Magaw (set design), and Rob Milburn & Michael Bodeen (original music and sound design).

Mahoney’s stage credits include the Broadway revival of Prelude to a Kiss amd his Tony Award winning performance in The House of Blue Leaves. He is best known for his work as Martin Crane in the Emmy Award-winning television series Frasier. Nussbaum has appeared in or directed a long list of plays at the Northlight including Grace, Tuesdays with Morrie, Hearts, and Someone to Watch Over Me.
