Amy Sedaris will host Lifeline Theatre’s 25th annual benefit at the Chicago Cultural Center, April 10. Sedaris will be signing copies of her book I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence, giving craft demonstrations, and holding a Q&A session on hospitality techniques.

The evening will also include a sword fight from The Mark of Zorro, cocktail piano by George Howe, as well as a silent auction. Auction items will include airline tickets, and a Frank Gehry-designed 3-fish drop silver and jade pendant, from Tiffany & Co. among other things.

Sedaris is a co-creator, with Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello, of the Comedy Central show Strangers with Candy, and half of the Obie-winning “Talent Family” playwright team with her brother, David.
