Rebecca Finnegan, Craig Spidle Set for Porchlight Theatre’s A Catered Affair

Porchlight Music Theatre company has announced casting for A Catered Affair, to run February 18 – April 1 at Stage 773. Nick Bowling will direct the production, which will have music direction by Doug Peck.

With music and lyrics by John Bucchino and a book by Harvey Fierstein, the show centers on a couple who must decide whether to spend their life savings on the family taxicab business or to celebrate their only daughter’s marriage with a lavish catered affair, providing her with the joyful wedding they never had for themselves.

The company will feature Rebecca Finnegan (Aggie Hurley), Craig Spidle (Tom Hurley), Jerry O’Boyle (Uncle Winston), Kelly Davis Wilson (Janey Hurley), Jim DeSelm (Ralph Halloran), Brittani Arlandis Green (Alice), Larry Baldacci (Sam/Mr. Halloran), Caron Buinis (Pasha/Caterer), Anne Sheridan Smith (Dolores/Mrs Halloran), Lauren Villegas (Myra/Wedding Dress Saleswoman), and Noah Sullivan (Tom/Sam), along with Nate Lewellyn, Brittany Bookbinder, Matt McNabb, and Jill Sesso.

The creative team will include Brian Sidney Bembridge (scenic design), Nic Jones (lighting design), Bill Morey (costume design), and Victoria (toy) Delorio (sound design).
