Elizardi Castro to Perform Made in Puerto Rico at Chicago Center
Mike Oquendo Events will present the comedy Made in Puerto Rico at the Chicago Center for the Performing Arts, March 18-May 1. Written, directed, and performed by Elizardi Castro, the piece explores what it means to be Puerto Rican and live in the United States.
Castro, who was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York, shares stories from his own childhood and his experiences as a father struggling to plant roots in a new culture.
