Mantegna, Metcalf, Schiff, Sinise, Wolf et al. Set for Steppenwolf’s Celebrity Golf Classic

Steppenwolf Theatre Company co-founder Gary Sinise will host the Company’s 5th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic, March 13-16 in Indian Wells, California. Sinise’s co-hosts include Edra Blixseth and Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack. The tournament, which will feature both celebrity and professional players, benefits the Steppenwolf Theater.

The 2008 Golf Classic features two days of golf, one of which is an exclusive return invitation to play for a second year at Blixseth’s private residence, Porcupine Creek, in Rancho Mirage. The weekend also includes three evenings of entertainment and activities at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa in Indian Wells and at Porcupine Creek, and entertainment by Sinise’s Lt. Dan Band at the closing night Awards Dinner & Gala.

The Classic is comprised of groups of five, each of which will feature a celebrity golfer, including Carlos Bernard, Blixseth, Gordon Clapp, Matt Craven, Bob Einstein (Super Dave), Dennis Farina, Don Felder, Joel Gretsch, Moira Harris, Gregory Harrison, Robert Hays, Dennis Haysbert, Greg Itzin, Congresswoman Bono Mack, Congressman Connie Mack, Joe Mantegna, Christopher McDonald, Bruce McGill, Laurie Metcalf, Mark Moses, Michael O’Keefe, Michael O’Neill, Jack Scalia, Richard Schiff, Sinise, Bill Smitrovich, Kevin Sorbo, Mykelti Williamson, Scott Wolf, and LPGA golfers Nicole Castrale and Angela Jerman.
