Matt Damon to Headline The People Speak Live

Matt Damon will lead the cast for a benefit performance of The People Speak Live, to be held at The Metro on January 31 at 7pm.
Based on the award-winning documentary feature The People Speak, the performance will feature dramatic readings and songs of the actual words of rebels, dissenters, and visionaries from America’s past and present. The event is part of a year-long “Voices of a People’s History” arts and education project in Chicago classrooms and communities.
The cast will also feature Alana Arenas, Robert Breuler, Maritza Cervantes, Kevin Coval, Idris Goodwin, Angela Jackson, Rick Kogan, Lani Montreal, Rami Nashashibi, Brian Quijada, the Louder Than a Bomb All-Stars, and the Luna Blues Machine band.
