Griffin Theatre Company to Present U.S. Premiere of Simon Stephens’ Punk Rock

Griffin Theatre Company is set to present the U.S. premiere of Simon Stephens’ Punk Rock, January 14-March 4, according to the Chicago Sun Times. Performances will take place at Theater Wit. Jonathan Berry will direct.
Punk Rock is a drama about a group of high school students nearing the end of their school lives. They see the whole world opening up before them and the danger it’ll swallow them up.
The cast will feature Jess Berry (Cissy), Joey DeBettencourt (William), Jeff Duhigg (Dr. Harvey), Ryan Heindl (Chadwick), Leah Karpel (Lilly), J.J Phillips (Bennett), Leah Raidt (Tanya), and Brandon Ruiter (Nicolas).
The creative team will include Joe Schermoly (set design), Melanie Berner (costume design), Nic Jones (lighting design), and Christian Gero (sound design).
