Developed through lengthy improvisations, Leigh's play focuses on what happens when a British 1970's domestic cocktail party goes hilariously and horrifically awry. The petty competition pulls social relationships apart, exposing the obsessions, prejudices, dreams, and aspirations of the guests.
Leigh's other plays include It's A Great Big Shame, Greek Tragedy, Goose-Pimples, Ecstasy, and Two Thousand Years. His films include All or Nothing, Life is Sweet, Secrets and Lies, Topsy Turvy, and Happy-Go-Lucky.For more information, visit www.aredorchidtheatre.org.
