Mary Ernster to Star in Wings: The Musical

Joseph Jefferson Award winner Mary Ernster will star in Wings: The Musical, based on the play by Arthur Kopit, with book and lyrics by Arthur Perlman and music by Jeffrey Lunden. Mark Lococo will direct the production, which plays the Apple Tree Theatre, March 11-April 5.
The musical tells the story of Emily Stilson (Ernster), an aviatrix and wing walker who in her youth was propelled dizzyingly through the air, but is now hurtling through the unrecognizable landscape of her own mind as she recovers from a stroke and suffers from aphasia.
The cast will also feature Rob Lindley (Billy), Barbara Myers (Nurse), and Anne Sheridan Smith (Amy). Music direction will be by Doug Peck.
