Zach Grenier's Broadway debut was in Larry Gelbart's 1989 political satire, Mastergate. His most recent turn is in 33 Variations. In between, he got dispatched by Judith Ivey in Voices in the Dark and sent Frank Langella to the gallows in the 2008 revival of A Man for All Seasons. Other major New York credits include The Public Theater's premieres of Stuff Happens and Talk Radio, David Rabe's A Question of Mercy, Manhattan Theatre Club's Three Birds Alighting on a Field, Lilith with Allison Janney, and two productions with downtown visionary Richard Foreman, Birth of the Poet and The Cure. Recurring television roles range from Deadwood and Touching Evil to C-16: FBI and Season One of 24. His movies appearances include Zodiac, Fight Club, Ride with the Devil, Donnie Brasco, Twister, Tommy Boy, and film versions of the stage hits Reckless and Laughter on the 23rd Floor. Grenier also appeared in the movie The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond, which was based on a forgotten screenplay by Tennessee Williams.
