Her Broadway credits include Kiss of the Spider Woman and Into the Woods, for which she received a Tony Award nomination.? She is currently appearing in Sondheim On Sondheim.? Williams' numerous television credits include Ally McBeal, Boomtown, Don Quixote, South Beach, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and most recently Ugly Betty, for which she is a three-time Emmy Award nominee.? She has also appeared in the films Eraser, Another You, Soul Food, Somebody Like You and Shaft, among many others.? In addition to her numerous other honors, Williams is a five-time NAACP Image Award recipient.
