Tyler Maynard was born in New Carlisle, Ohio. Maynard attended College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. He is notable for playing minor roles in films such as Palindromes and Red Doors, but is most notable for originating the role of Mark in the wildly successful Off Broadway show Altar Boyz. He has appeared recently on ABC's Ugly Betty. Maynard originated the role of Flotsam in Disney's The Little Mermaid.
