Juilliard-trained actor/ singer Tracie Thoms made her Broadway debut in Drowning Crow and was asked to take on the role of "Joanne" in the final Broadway company of the hit original production of RENT after playing the role in the film version of the musical as one of only two new cast members. Other film credits include Descent, The Devil Wears Prada, and Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof. Thoms was a series regular on TV's Cold Case and also guested on Private Practice and Harry's Law.
