The Afrikan Women's Repertory proudly present REBECCA. Yesterday, Rebecca was an upwardly mobile successful young woman. Today, she arrives at the office of Dr. Amanda Phillips to receive psychiatric care. She seems restless. The next day she comes dressed in African garb and informs Dr. Phillip's assistant that she is Tiyi, assistant to the great Egyptian Queen, Hatshepsut. Tomorrow, she will be Amanda, a sharecropper's daugher in the South of 1931. Dr. Phillips believes that Rebecca may have multiple personality disorder, but does she? Could she be spiritually connected to the past? Will the doctor believe her before she is sent to an institution? -jam
