Tony Award-winning Ruben Santiago-Hudson made his Broadway debut in Jelly's Last Jam and earned Emmy, WGA, and Golden Globe nominations and the Humanitas and NAACP Image Awards for his autobiographical play-turned-HBO film Lackawanna Blues. His television credits include Castle, Law & Order, and The West Wing. Flm credits include Shaft, American Gangsters, and Their Eyes Were Watching God. Santiago-Hudson made his directorial debut on longtime collaborator's Gem of the Ocean for the McCarter Theatre Center in 2005.
