Roger Rees is an award winning actor who's career has taken him to stages of all shapes and sizes both in the United States and abroad. He created the title role in The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby with Royal Shakespeare Company both in London and in New York which won him both a Tony and an Olivier Award. Other Broadway credits include Gomez in The Addams Family,Uncle Vanya, The Rehearsal at the Roundabout, and Indiscretions which earned him Tony and Drama Desk nominations. Off Broadway credits include A Man of No Importance with LTC, The End of the Day and The Uneasy Chair with Playwrights Horizons, and The Misanthrope with Classic Stage Company. Mr. Rees' London credits include the original productions of Tom Stoppard's The Real Thing and Hapgood, and Waiting for Godot with Sir Ian McKellen, among others. Mr. Rees' film and television credits include Julie Taymor's Frida, The Scorpion King, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Invasion, Mel Brooks' Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and appearances on such shows as Cheers, The West Wing, Boston Common, and My So-Called Life.
