BIO

Rick Negron, a native of Puerto Rico, joined the performing world at a very young age: by his 15th birthday he was already a veteran performer. Shortly after receiving his liberal arts degree in dance, theater, and music from Sarah Lawrence College he performed at La Mama in Street Dreams. Negron has been seen on Broadway in The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Man of La Mancha. He also appeared in the Las Vegas performing with the company of Mamma Mia. Aside from his work on the stage, Negron also has appeared of screen in the films Mexico City, Tough Luck, and Chicago. Currently he is on Broadway playing the role of Kevin, a protective father, in the Tony Award winning musical In the Heights.
