Renée Elise Goldsberry made her Broadway debut as Mimi Marquez in Rent. She has since appeared in The Lion King and The Color Purple. Goldsberry's screen credits include the films All About You and Turn Around as well as the television series The Good Wife, The Return of Jezebel James, Ally McBeal, and One Life to Live, for which she received two Emmy Award nominations.
