BIO

Acclaimed director Michael Greif originally hails from Brooklyn, New York. From 1995 - 1999. He has worked extensively on Broadway earning three Tony Award nominations for Best Direction for Rent, Grey Gardens, and most recently, Next to Normal. His other Broadway credits include The Green Bird, Jane Eyre, and Never Gonna Dance. He recently directed the Shakespeare in the Park production of Romeo and Juliet. Greif is a graduate of the University of of California San Diego graduate directing program.
