Maryann Plunket was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. Plunket is married to actor Jay O. Sanders. She won the 1987 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for Me and My Girl. Plunket has also won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical for the same role. She has also been on numerous television shows including Law and Order, The Night Listener, and Peter and Vandy. She recently appeared as Alice More opposite Frank Langella in A Man for All Seasons.
