She went on to starring roles on Broadway in Into the Woods, The Wedding Singer, and the 2008 revival of Gypsy for which she won a Tony Award.? Benanti's television credits include Starved, Eli Stone, and Life on Mars.? She also played Tina in the film Take the Lead in 2006.
