Kristen Johnston was born in Washington, D.C. and made her Broadway debut in The Women. She is known for her role as Sally Solomon in the popular television show 3rd Rock From the Sun for which she won multiple Emmy Awards. She was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for her role in the Off Broadway play The Lights. Her film work includes Bride Wars, Strangers with Candy, and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me in which she portrayed Ivana Humpalot.
