Justin Vivian Bond is a co-creator of the popular Cabaret act Kiki and Herb, in which Justin plays Kiki DuRane, an aging chanteuse opposite her gay accompanist Herb, played by Kenny Mehlman. In 2006, the duo made their Broadway debut in Kiki and Herb: Alive on Broadway which was nominated for a Tony Award. Bond is the recipient of the Obie, Bessie, and Ethyl Eichelberger Awards. Bond frequently performs cabaret acts outside of Kiki & Herb, including the recent Justin Bond: Lustre. Bond's film credits include Imaginary Heroes and John Cameron Mitchell's Shortbus. Bond is the author of Tango: My Childhood, Backwards and in High Heels.
