Veteran actor John McMartin made his Broadway debut in The Conquering Hero.? He has since appeared in numerous productions on the White Way, including A Free Man of Color, Sweet Charity, Don Juan, Grey Gardens, High Society, Show Boat, Follies, and The Great God Brown, for which he received a Drama Desk Award.? Among McMartin's many off-Broadway credits are Saturn Returns, The Visit, The Little Foxes, and a Theatre World Award-winning turn in Little Mary Sunshine.? Film buffs might remember McMartin from his roles in No Reservations, Kinsey, Who's That Girl, and All the President's Men.? He also reprised his Tony-nominated role as Oscar in Sweet Charity in the film adaptation, opposite Shirley Maclaine.? McMartin has often been in demand on television, with guest spots on series as varied as Oz, Frasier, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Magnum, P.I., and Spin City.? In 2009, McMartin was inducted into the Theatre World Hall of Fame.?
