Aside from her stage experience on and off Broadway, Janet Dacal has also recorded and performed with Grammy Award winning artists such as Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada and Luis Enrique. Most recently she won the Drama Desk Award for her performance as Carla (the "lovably ditzy" salon assistant) in In the Heights. Though a native of Los Angeles, Dacal considers Miami her home. Other stage appearance include Byzantium, Señor Discretion, Himself, 5 Course Love, Four Guys Named Jose, and Annie.
