BIO

James Gandolfini is known worldwide as Tony Soprano after eight years as the crime boss on HBO's The Sopranos. The New Jersey native and former bartender was nominated for six Emmys for that role, winning three of them. Gandolfini's Broadway credits include the current God of Carnage, the 1995 production of On the Waterfront, and the 1992 revival of A Streetcar Named Desire, starring Jessica Lange. His films include Where the Wild Things Are, Welcome to the Rileys, the remake of The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, All the King's Men, Lonely Hearts, Romance & Cigarettes, The Last Castle, The Man Who Wasn't There, The Mexican, 8MM, A Civil Action, The Mighty, Fallen, She's So Lovely, Get Shorty, Crimson Tide, True Romance, A Stranger Among Us, and the TV remake of 12 Angry Men, starring Jack Lemmon and George C. Scott.
