Born in Los Angeles, California, Howard McGillin made his Broadway debut in La Boheme. Mr. McGillin won the 1986 Theatre World Award for The Mystery of Edwin Drood. He was also nominated for numerous awards including, the1988 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical andthe 1988 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical for Anything Goes. Mr. McGillin's Broadway credits include, The Kiss of the Spider Woman, She Loves Me and The Secret Garden. McGillin holds the title of "World's longest-running Phantom," playing the role on Broadway for more than ten years.
