New Orleans-born Harry Connick, Jr. first came to prominence as a musician and jazz/blues vocalist but has since made a home on stage and on film as a warm and charismatic performer. This musical prodigy began playing piano at the age of three, attended the Manhattan School of Music, and wrote the score to the popular film When Harry Met Sally when he was only twenty-two years old. He has continued to support Broadway as a leading man and in limited run concerts throughout his career. Film appearances include Hope Floats, P.S. I Love You, and Little Man Tate. Television projects include Cheers, South Pacific and Will & Grace. In addition to his efforts as a performer, Connick, Jr. is also an avid philanthropist, and in particular a major supporter of efforts to rebuild New Orleans post-Hurricane Katrina.
