Academy Award-winning actress Frances McDormand was last seen on Broadway in Good People, a performance for which she won a Tony Award. She made her Broadway debut in Awake and Sing! and went on to star in The Country Girl and A Streetcar Named Desire, for which she received her Tony nomination. McDormand's other theater credits include The Sisters Rosenzweig, Oedipus, and The Swan. In addition to her Oscar-winning performance in Fargo, McDormand received nominations for her work in Almost Famous, Mississippi, and North Country. She has also appeared in the films Burn After Reading, Something's Gotta Give, Wonder Boys, and the upcoming This Must Be the Place, among many others. Her television guest spots include roles on The Simpsons and State of Grace. McDormand is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama.
