Estelle Parsons started her career as a PA on the Today Show, but quickly rose to become the first female network television political news reporter. Making her Broadway debut in Happy Hunting, she has received 7 Tony nominations for her work in such shows as The Seven Descents in Myrtle, And Miss Myrtle Drinks a Little, and Mornings at 7. Parsons also received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in Bonnie and Clyde, made several guest appearances on hit television shows All in the Familyand Roseanne, and served as Artistic Director for the Actor's Studio from 1996 - 2001.
