Erik Steele's Broadway shows include the current 33 Variations and past revivals of Tartuffe (at the Roundabout with Brian Bedford and Henry Goodman) and Inherit the Wind (starring Christopher Plummer and Brian Dennehy). Off-Broadway, Steele has appeared in The Pearl Theatre's revival of The Mandrake as well as productions of Bloody Poetry, Macbeth, and The Rivals. Significant regional credits include last season's West Coast premiere of 33 Variations at La Jolla Playhouse, a 2001 Cape Playhouse revival of Crimes of the Heart with Sandy Duncan, and the lead in Joe Dowling's 2000 production of The Invention of Love at the Guthrie Theatre.
