Don Amendolia's first Broadway shows--Stepping Out and the early '80s Gershwin extravaganza My One and Only--were both with director Tommy Tune. He was also in Tune's off-Broadway premiere of Caryl Churchill's Cloud Nine. More recent highlights include Terrence McNally's Some Men and Dedication or The Stuff of Dreams. For the latter, he replaced Nathan Lane in the starring role. Amendolia is widely recognized for his roles as Emory Battis in Twin Peaks and Big Al in NBC's Sunset Beach. Films include The Secret of My Success, Fearless, Ed Wood, Bounce, Wayne's World, Boogie Nights, and A Walk in the Clouds. Amendolia has also directed many regional productions along with some episodes of the sitcoms Harry and the Hendersons and Growing Pains.
