Derrick Baskin made his Broadway debut as Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a performance which earned him a Drama Desk Award.?He recently appeared as Jetsam in the Tony Award-nominated musical The Little Mermaid.? He will next be seen in the new Broadway musical Memphis.? Baskin is a graduate of Hampton University.
