Widely known for his portrayal of Vampire King Russell Edgington on HBO's True Blood, Denis O'Hare is one of the theater community's most prolific actors. He made his Broadway debut in Racing Demon and went on to play Ernst Ludwig in Roundabout's highly successful revival of Cabaret. He received a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for the baseball drama Take Me Out in 2003 and was then nominated the following year for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical in Assassins. In recent years he has starred in Sweet Charity, Inherit the Wind and Classic Stage Company's Uncle Vanya. His extensive screen credits include a recurring role on ABC's Brothers & Sisters, playing Prince Dauntless for the 2005 television adaptation of Once Upon A Mattress and supporting roles in the feature films Michael Clayton, Half Nelson, Milk, Charlie Wilson's War and Duplicity.
