Daniel Jacob Radcliffe was born on 23rd July 1989 in the London suburb of Fulham. In August 2000, Radcliffe was cast as Harry Potter, the titular character in film versions of J.K. Rowling's series of novels about Hogwarts School of witchcraft and Wizardry. He made his Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of Peter Shaffer's Equus.
